A word on outDoor activities:

Dear Guests, this area of New Hampshire has some of the best hiking, skiing, and snowshoeing in New England. There are many trails and scenic areas to explore. We encourage you to take advantage of your time in the region to experience the mountains. If you plan to be outside during your visit please research your destination beforehand, Make sure you have proper clothing and equipment. Check weather conditions very carefully, and tell someone not going with you where you are going and when you plan to return. There will not be cell service outside of the towns! If you go to Mt. Washington or another peak, Please bear in mind that the elevation change of some peaks will result in decreased oxygen saturation at higher altitudes, increasing the risk of altitude sickness (fatigue, dizziness, nausea). If you plan to climb or drive/ride to a high peak give yourself extra time to rest and adjust to the thinner air conditions as you climb.
